Ceremonies
My fees are predicated on a high level of personal service. I am always available to talk to couples I work with about anything they require in regard to the wedding, even matters unrelated to the ceremony.
“Keep it Simple” Ceremony
Price: $175 ($250 with rehearsal)
This ceremony is informal, short & sweet! It can be arranged on very short notice and discussed over the phone. No planning meeting required.
Custom Ceremony
Price: $375
This ceremony is custom-tailored to fit your needs as a couple. Depending upon the service desired, a planning session may be necessary. We will decide upon a date, time, and place to meet.
I will provide you with sample ceremony formats to review and personalize. During the planning session, we will discuss all the aspects of the ceremony. An outline of the event will be decided, and all the various elements will be selected.
I will create a detailed document that will be submitted for your approval. In some cases, a second session may be required closer to the date of the wedding to implement any last-minute changes.
A Custom Ceremony includes the following:

Initial meeting and planning session, either in person, by phone, or by video call

Wedding questionnaire & reviewing your personal information

A custom-designed ceremony, including two rounds of edits

Performance of wedding ceremony

Signing and filing of your marriage license

A copy of your ceremony as a keepsake

Rehearsal ceremony within 50 miles of Ellington, Connecticut. If the ceremony is further than 50 miles from Ellington, a fee of $0.75 per mile will be added.
Rehearsals
With the two personal planning sessions, a rehearsal may not be necessary. However, many couples find it very helpful to go through a rehearsal process, especially if the ceremony is detailed and the bridal party is larger than four people. If you choose, I can attend so long as it is scheduled in advance. Your rehearsal will generally take more time than the ceremony itself, but allows us to identify any potential challenges and find solutions in advance. An additional fee is required for a rehearsal if it is over 50 miles from my home.
Your Wedding Day
Typically, I will arrive about 30-45 minutes before the ceremony and coordinate with photographers, singers, readers, DJ, etc. If you are having a "first look” session with the photographer, you can sign your marriage license at this time.
If not, the signing of your marriage license can be done immediately following the ceremony or as part of the actual ceremony. The time of the signing should be decided in advance.
Deposits
A non-refundable 50% deposit is due at the time of signing our contract to reserve your date and time.
